A Data What?
As we navigate the opportunities for data collaboratives and data stewardship in the Pacific, I invite you as the editor in exploring real-world questions from practitioners on the ground.
Each week, I’ll respond to questions from our community-of-practice and delve into how enhancing data sharing and collaboration among diverse stakeholders can support meaningful outcomes for the Pacific.
I'll also be exploring how the concept of networked governance enables decentralized decision-making and collective impact, so will be examining real-world examples of successful network governance initiatives from around the world and how they can inform the same efforts here in the Pacific.
A critical part of this conversation are the emerging patterns and practices for Data Collaboratives, so we can explore how these collaboratives serve as a bridge between network governance and specific projects focused on meaningful outcomes.
Your Input Matters
I encourage you to share your experiences, challenges, and insights, where your feedback will be invaluable in refining our collective understanding of these critical topics
Your experience and insights matter, so why don’t join the conversation.
On-Going Research: Are we there yet?
Throughout this series, I'll also be sharing some insights from my use of Insider Action Research, a participatory methodology that I’m using to co-design and test networked governance models for data collaboratives as part of my Professional Doctorate at Otago University.
Hopefully this approach will allow us to get a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities in adopting these concepts in the Pacific context…
Stay Tuned!
I look forward to your continued engagement and participation as we explore these critical topics together.
Regards
